The V-Day Dress

Hey lovelies!    

I don't know about you but I think the best part of Valentines day is dressing up for the meal out and as always, the shops have lots of red and pink to choose from. So, I've taken a look around and found a few beauties that I feel are perfect for the big day! 
I'm a Topshop girl at heart and always go there first when on a shopping spree, so naturally, that's where my V-day outfits were found. Topshop really do have something for everyone. No matter what shape, size or style, Topshop will have something to suit you and make you feel a million dollars!


My first pick from here is the adorable Duchess Satin Bow Back Prom Dress! This dress reminds me of old classic romantic movies. It's cute as a button (as Harry Styles would say) and is the image of pure innocence! Pair it with nude/cream heels (not huge platforms if possible), matching clutch and simple gold jewellery and you'll be picture perfect! This beauty comes in at £75 but remember, if you're a student you get 10% off! ;)
     



My next pick is slightly less damsel in distress and slightly more fifty shades of grey! This little number is sure to spice things up! Named the Ribbed Bandage Bodycon Dress and priced at £48 is chic and cheap- perfect. Wear a push-up bra with that deep v neck and then no necklace is necessary ;). Both black or nude would compliment this shade of pink so it's down to personal preference here. Just be careful what you eat as this dress will not be forgiving for a food baby. However, it is sure to make your man feel like he's died and gone to heaven!   




My Third pick suits both day and night so its ideal if you don't have time to change. This Crepe Tee Shift Dress has been in shops since summer 2013 in a variety of       colours but it still remains very much on trend. For day wear, team it with a chunky statement necklace, black tights and black heeled boots, (If you're brave then no tights will also look great) and try to stick to black outerwear as well. Then in the evening you're set to go. If possible ditch the boots for a sleeker heel! It's a bargain at £45 as you can wear it over and over again pairing it with different accessories for different occasions.
